TV in EEUU

Hi! I don’t see so much the TV here but I know that they have got 300 channels more or less,it is incredible in comparison with the channels that are in Spain. The people see much sport and how they have got so many channels they can see all kind of movies. The channels are viewed more sport in which there are hockey, baseball and American football. They have got argentine channels and other where speak “spanish”.

Sports in EEUU

People of New York love see sports but not all do sport. Hockey is very important here, I saw a game of Andrea’s sister who play hockey and the players are so fast and they must know ice skating very well because they must change of direction all time at full speed, the best team of here is Boston Bruins. Another important sport here is basketball (and the most players of the world are black), baseball (the best team and most famous here is Red Sox) and American football (is a game that I don’t understand so much but shich are many blows) his most important team is New England Patriots.

Boston Celtics Game, 17/10/07

Hi!

I had never seen a basketball game and was incredible. Almost was better the environment that had the game, all people, the huge stadium, the big screen TV that had above the basketball court, the cheerleders… The game was very good and the Celtics won the game 101-61 vs, Knicks. Later, we return to Milford in bus (less of 2 hours) and went to house to sleep.

Tuesday 16

Trip to Newport!!!

We went to this city at one hour of Milford and saw two huge mansions of rich people from the past, we took a lot of pictures and after that, we went around Newport and ate a pizza, we saw the port and we could go to shopping.

Sunday 7

This day,first we went to a party where all spanish students and their hosts talked and ate and we had fun. Later we had got the best birthday party I have ever seen, we dressed up and with black or white clothes, there was music, food, and many people dancing. We danced all night and was incredible.

Saturday 6

Hi! We went in bus to Milford High School and there had the hosted students with cardboards where drew our names and met our familys, this day we knew my house and went to the swiming pool of Liz (another host’s student) and with raquel, jesus and his host’s students we spent a good afternoon.

Bostonnn… 08/09/07

Hello! This day we went to Boston (over one hour in bus), we went in a “boat” to visitor and saw all the city from the river, we did so much photos and some drive the boat. Later we went to visit the science museum and ate there.

Thursday 11

The other day we went to another kind of school here called “Blackstone Valley Tech” which is like “Formacion Profesional” in Spain. They prepare the students in subjects like cooking, hairdresser or technologies classes. They had a lot of facilities at the school and it was so easy!
