My last day…

This day is a very sad day because I have got many friends here and I’m sure that this is the best experience I have even lived, and I’ll remember that for all my life.

I’m going to miss stay here too much, my family first of all, my friends, Milford, High School… Everything is so incredible that I can’t think of go back to Spain. I will try to do everything possible to return some day…

I think that is more healthy and there are less fast food and more fruits and vegetables

- What differences there are between Spain and EEUU?

The food, people, houses , time to sleep… Some people believe that this is so difficult. But I think it is better to do this just because you can do it once in your life. 

- Are you excited to come to Spain?

Yes, of course. I want go to Spain.

- Did you enjoy this month with me?

Of course, this is your house and you can come here whenever you want.

- What do you think about Spanish food?

I don’t know, but I think that it is more healthy than here.

- Do you think I have a good Englis level?

At first not very good but has improved and now you have got a good English.

Halloween Saturday, 20

Hi! This day we had a Halloween party, where we could dance with music, eat and where all people went whit costumes, Alfredo of old, Carola of fallen angel, Victor of scarecrow… In the party we did a pumpkin and later people vote in which most liked, and Jorge won a sweatshirt. After that all people went back his houses because the following day we had to wake up earlier.

Haloween

Here, Halloween is as important as “Nochebuena” and “Nochevieja” in Spain, all people decorate his houses with scarecrow, pumpkins, and all kinds of ornaments. They grab pumpkins, first they removed the top and cups inside with a knife and then give you the way they want, at the end put a candle inside and at night is so incredible. People spend so much money in his costumes and other things to have fun.

New York Monday, 22

We woke up earlier also and went in by boat to the island where is the statue of liberty, it was huge and so beautifull, later we went to see the Museum of Modern Art(MoMA) and we could see the pictures of Picasso and Monet among others, after that we went back to Milford by bus, but as there was a traffic jam takes more than six hours to reach.

New York Sunday, 21

We woke up earlier and went in bus at 7, more or less. We stayed in the bus 5 hours and when we arrived to NY we made a tour of the most important monuments of the city and its different parts, we could see Harlem, and the monument to John Lennon, Central Park, Empire State, the Ground Zero, Chinatown… after that we arrived to the Wellington hotel, we left the suitcases in our rooms and later we went to see Mary Popins, the musical was well and there was a time when Mary Popins flying by the stage. After of this, we had got free time to see Times Square, one zone where all was full of huge shops and lights and gigant screens. At 12 o’clock, more or less, we came back to the hotel to finish the great day.

The TV here is very special because, for example, when you put your television can choose so many movies and all these films are as if you have your original, you can stop it, or begin to see it again whenever you want. In Spain if in the TV there is a movie you must see it when the TV put want, and you can’t stop it…
